Steven is a clinical assistant professor & the Clinical Outreach Director for the Speech@Baylor Online Program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University. He received his master’s degree at the University of Montevallo (2000) & SLP.D. at Nova Southeastern University (2017). Steven teaches the fluency disorders course at Baylor University and is an adjunct professor for Minot State University and Columbia College. He has also presented at national, state, and local conferences on the topics of stuttering, clinical education, and program development. Steven founded and is the Executive Director of STUTTERFLY, Inc. The mission of this non-profit is building community with people who stutter through fly fishing and the outdoors. Through this non-profit, Steven also offers stuttering therapy services to individuals living in Georgia, North Carolina, & Montana. Steven has been involved with Camp ShoutOut for the past several years. It is simply life-changing for the campers, SLPs, and volunteers. It is an honor and privilege to be part of this wonderful community. Steven chooses to spend his free time hiking, camping, fly fishing, or exploring new places with his family (Riley and his dog, Maggie).
